The tunes are played by soloists, duets, small groups & ceilidh bands, including many of the leading Irish fiddlers, accordionists & flute-players of their day. The tracks, spanning 1922-48, have been scrupulously remastered & are accompanied by producer Reg Hall's detailed historical notes.
